Evening Times - Hunt Shug the Dug Underground for Prizes

Glasgow's Biggest Treasure Hunt!

Shug is having a day out in the city using the Subway - all you have to do is identify each of the Subway stations that he’s visited. To help you out, Shug has left a picture of himself in his new orange coat at each of the five stations he’s been to and given us clues to help you find them.

Please note you do not need to exit the turnstile, although Shug will not necessarily be located on the platforms.  Once you have found him, snap a picture on your phone and move on to the next station, you can do this in any order but please remember that the 5th clue is the finishing station.

(Clue #1) Shug says: “I had a lovely lunch at The Chip with some of my pals, before getting on the Subway at ........”

(Clue #2) Shug says: "Just got the cutest teddy bear from THAT famous toy store! Jumping on the subway at .. ....."

(Clue #3) Shug says: “Just hopped off the Subway at ..... to buy a ball from from a famous club’s megastore”

(Clue #4) Shug says: “Can't wait for Adele at the O2 Academy Glasgow this Sunday. I'll be catching the Subway to ...... ......”

(Clue #5) Shug says: “I am at the final station, and have finished off my day out by getting the Subway to ....... to visit the Riverside Museum”

Anyone who finds all five clues can enter the prize draw that will take place when the hunt finishes just after 3pm. We’ve got some great prizes courtesy of 02, The Ubiquitous Chip, The Kings Theatre, O2 Academy and many more.

Please note that photography is not usually allowed on the Subway but we have been given a special dispensation for you to take pictures of the Shug picture trail during the treasure hunt time only. The following Terms and Conditions will also apply:

Terms and Conditions
1. To be eligible each entrant must have Shug photos from all of the stations where Shug has left clues
2. Those entries with photos taken on the day will be eligible
3. The prizes will be drawn on 23rd September just after 3pm - no cash alternatives or substitutions will be offered
4. Winners must participate in related publicity/agree photos can be used on Glasgow Subway / Find Me Glasgow Facebook and Twitter
5. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
6. Employees of SPT and Find Me Glasgow, their friends and relations are not eligible to enter
7. Entrants must play fairly and respect other players and other passengers. Remember to hunt safely be aware of moving trains, do not stand close to the platform edge, be courteous to other passengers and players. If anyone is seen to be endangering others they will be disqualified.
8. Entrants participate at their own risk, SPT and Find Me Glasgow are not accountable for any loss or damage resulting in participation
9. SPT and Find Me Glasgow are not responsible for the performance or quality of third party prizes
10. Those using foul or abusive language or uploading indecent images onto @glasgowsubway or @findmeglasgow will be disqualified immediately and will be blocked from the @glasgowsubway and @findmeglasgow twitter accounts
11. Entrants must not attempt to hide or tamper with any of the pictures posted in the selected stations
12. SPT and Find Me Glasgow reserve the right to suspend or disqualify any entrant that they feel has breached these terms and conditions.
13. Under 10's must be accompanied by an adult.
