Full Time - OTE £23,400 (uncapped commission), Part Time - Pro Rata
Job Overview
Working with the SME market, duties include identifying new prospects in the greater Glasgow area to generate business revenue through proposing and providing online advertising and new media solutions, whilst working to achievement of sales, quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- To source fresh data and identify opportunities
- To contact relevant sector SMEs in person or by telephone and establish business needs
- To present the benefits of online advertising to the customer
- To design an advertising programme to meet customer needs
- To achieve agreed sale revenue and new customer target numbers
- To contribute towards plans, forecasts, reports and information regarding customer requirements, business performance and competitors as required
- To take personal responsibility to keep abreast of changes within the market, product set and Company
- To ensure a high standard of behaviour, knowledge and skills in satisfying customer requirements to enhance customer satisfaction
- To ensure all documentation will be maintained in accordance with quality guidance
- To understand regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them, relying on their own knowledge or on their ability to recognise that they need specialist support
- To actively support, at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required
Previous face-face / advertising sales experience is desirable but not essential.
Full ongoing training will be given to support and develop raw talents
Should be I.T. Literate, efficient in time management and have the ability to form / develop strong customer relationships - 'people buy people.
Special Features:
The post holder needs to be able to work with the minimum of supervision, be part of a team and able to achieve results through virtual team-working. Present a professional image and be willing to work unscheduled hours to meet the needs of the business.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a 3 month probationary period on a self employed basis (commission only). A retainer fee is available from month 2 onwards. On completion of this initial probationary period successful consultants will be offered employment contract, together with additional company benefits.
Please note self employed individuals are responsible for their own tax and NI contributions.
