Description
Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA), the world governing body for Cerebral Palsy (CP) football, has awarded the 2010 European Football Championships to Glasgow.
The event will be held at the new Regional Football Centre at Toryglen from the 17th-29th August and will feature the following European teams:
• Denmark
• England
• Finland
• Republic of Ireland
• Russia
• Scotland
• Spain
• The Netherlands
• Ukraine
CPISRA has also confimed that Australia will be invited into the tournament as guests bringing the number of participating nations up to ten. Their involvement will have no impact upon rankings.

Description
The £15.7 million sports facility at Toryglen has been built to FIFA 2 Star standards, with seating for 700 spectators.
There are a further 3 outdoor synthetic pitches and 1 grass pitch.
The FIFA recommended 2 Star for artificial turf is designed specifically to mirror the playing characteristics of professional football. FIFA final round competitions and top UEFA competitions have the FIFA recommended 2 Star in their respective competition regulations. FIFA recommended 2 Star have to go through a series of stringent laboratory and field tests before the highly respected FIFA certificate is issued.
Toryglen Football Centre will be open Monday to Friday 10am to 10pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 10pm.
